Year 1 Trip to London Aquarium

This week, Year 1 visited the London Aquarium as part of their Polar Bears or Penguins topic. They traveled on the Underground to Waterloo Station and walked to the Aquarium. The children were in awe as they passed through glass tunnels, watching fish and sharks swim above. They loved exploring life under the sea and found the Jellyfish extremely interesting. However, the best part of the day was seeing the penguins. The children watched as the penguins waddled on the ice and dived into the water. They shared facts they had learnt and were excited to see these animals close up. We would like to say a big thank you to the parent helpers who accompanied the Year 1s. They did a fantastic job ensuring all children returned to school safe.
