Remember, Remember the 5th of November!
This date will go down in Watling history after such a great community event last Friday! Packed with a variety of activities – an International Evening where members of our community came in national dress, brought home cooked national dishes for others to sample, displays of national traditional dances and crafts,. This was combined with henna stalls, toasting marshmallows, sparklers. Around school there was a display of all our Black History Month. Then the event finale a firework display.
Huge thanks to all members of Staff, Parents / Carers and extended family who helped prepare food, set-up the event and deliver all aspects of the evening! Great teamwork and so fabulous to be back together for a school event!
