A non-selective, non-denominational, co-educational primary free school, Watling Park School welcomes children from all backgrounds. We currently have 57 languages spoken across our diverse and multicultural school making it a rich and vibrant place to learn and develop.
Opening in September 2015 with two Reception classes of 30 children, the school reached its capacity of 420 pupils in September 2021.
Operated by Bellevue Place Education Trust, the school offers a broad and balanced curriculum with specific focus on English and Mathematics. We focus on high academic attainment, and employ innovative pedagogical approaches delivered by the finest teaching staff.
Our belief is that children learn best when they are happy and excited by what is happening in the classroom; excellent achievements will be a by-product of the education on offer and not the only goal.
Our aim is to instil a love of learning in our pupils and provide a solid foundation to build on, in the transition to secondary education and beyond.
Every pupil at our school will be encouraged to achieve their maximum potential within a happy, nurturing and stimulating environment.
Our first OfSTED report was published on 08/06/2018. The report found Watling Park School to be ‘Good’ in all areas.
