Recently a team of Year 3 boys competed in our first BPET Trust-wide football tournament. Throughout the day, they played a number of games against other school teams from the Trust. We are so proud of our boys who showed fantastic sportsmanship and teamwork and played beautifully throughout the round-robin event!
This week, Year 1 visited the London Aquarium as part of their Polar Bears or Penguins topic. They traveled on the Underground to Waterloo Station and walked to the Aquarium. The children were in awe as they passed through glass tunnels, watching fish and sharks swim above. They loved exploring life under the sea and found the Jellyfish extremely interesting. However, …
The children had a wonderful time at Christmas lunch on Wednesday. Mrs Collinson’s beautiful table decorations adorned our tables, crackers were pulled and a delicious meal was eaten. Thank-you to our wonderful chefs! Merry Christmas!
Children have been busy making Christmas designs for two different competitions. Our Local MP Matthew Offord asked schools to enter a competition to design a Christmas email greeting for him to use. Our local care home, Appletree Court, wanted help designing a card for them to send out to families of residents. Let’s hope one our wonderful designs wins!
Diwali Dancing On Monday 26th November our Reception Year Group enjoyed learning some Bollywood Dancing moves – as you can see from the photo they had a great time!
Pupils at Watling Park School planted nearly 100 trees around the school’s green space, so that in the future they can enjoy their own green space.
